Howdy,

This is my first post on this little blog thingy. The observant of you will have noticed that this website is powered by WordPress, the reasons for this choice are that:

• I think WordPress is sexy.
• I started writing my own blog software in PHP but lost it due to a stupid mistake so I’ve given up trying to start it again.
• WordPress only takes 10mins to install and I was in a hurry.

So what is the point of this blog?

Well, the short answer is: there is no point to this blog whatsoever. The more accurate and somewhat longer answer is that I own several domains (14 at last count) and I also have a webserver; each of my domains used to house a different site built for a specific purpose however the last server that I had all of these sites hosted on was borrowed and the true owner of it decided to get rid of all my stuff.

Being slightly disheartened due to the fact that I have no backups and also whilst trying to deal with the loss of a friend I have very little time or energy to rebuild all of these sites once more. As I am going to university in a few months I thought the best idea would be to create a space where all the people I’m leaving behind (and also some random people) can read about my progress in life.

Here we have that space . The official domain of this blog is http://youreadmyblog.info however  most of my other domains also point to this site.

What’s the short version of this increasingly long first post?

This is my blog, it is intended to fill a small gap in the web, read it if you want, check back for updates when you want. If you don’t want to then there’s a little X in the top right corner of your screen, click it and this will all go away .
