As I am bored I’ve just taken some time to tidy up the page a bit so that (the main page at least) is XHTML 1.0 Strict Compliant.

OK, We have new theme again just because I fancied a change and wanted something to write about .

I quite like it although I might be faffing on with the colour scheme and header image for a while until I get it how i want it.

This post is just a test to see whether the source code syntax highlighter thing works properly. To demonstrate this I think I’ll use that oh so helpful of PHP examples that starts almost every “basic fundamentals of PHP” tutorial I have read.

I have just upgraded to Wordpress 2.6 (like I said I would in the last post). This is pointless news because you – my blog readers – don’t need to know and probably won’t notice any difference but alas I felt like writing it down and filing it under Site Updates just because I can.

OK we’re almost at the one week stage of the lifespan of this blog so I’m trying to add more content to it :-) Lets start with a realisation I had yesterday: – Its less than a month until exam results day – I’m so anxious about that, that I might even see if I can find a countdown timer that I can stick it up here and keep track of the seconds remaining :-P. If you’re curious as to what results I will be getting: head over to the about me page.

Next, let me say that I’m not too happy with the Buy me a Beer links so I think I may change to having one link to the side of pages rather than on every post – not many of you have bought me a beer yet and that is disappointing :-(

As I am writing this there is a bar to the top of the page informing me that WP 2.6 is available so I guess I will upgrade my blog to the new version once this post is finished.

I’m still not too happy with the theme used on this blog at the mo so if any of you out there are good at that sort of thing and would like to make me a unique one please feel free :-)

This post is possibly beginning to sound very mixed up – that’s because I am writing things down as I think of them irregardless of whether the order makes sense.

Ah cool fact (well I think it is): pages from this site are now indexed by Google.

Ok, we have a new theme again, so old one started to annoy me so here we go, it’s a bit boring but it’ll do until I find something better.

Sometimes boring is good :-)

This blog is starting to look a bit better, it isnt the greatest theme ever that i’m using but it will have to do until I find something better.

I have added a few generic pages which you can browse using the links to the left and I have also added a stats panel around about there to show visits and a little information that I can gather about you :-).

I’m looking at the minute for a nice galley plugin I can use to upload some photos to this site – but I’m having to suspend the search for a few hours whilst I go and find some much needed food :-D.

This is my first post on this little blog thingy. The observant of you will have noticed that this website is powered by WordPress, the reasons for this choice are that:

• I think WordPress is sexy.
• I started writing my own blog software in PHP but lost it due to a stupid mistake so I’ve given up trying to start it again.
• WordPress only takes 10mins to install and I was in a hurry.
